Every day in Maryland, lives are lost due to overdoses involving prescription opioids and, increasingly, illicit fentanyl. In 2016 alone, more than 1,821 Marylanders have died from opioid overdoses.

Rhetoric won’t solve this problem.

The Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI) of Maryland is committed to supporting and advancing programs that prevent misuse of these prescription medicines and to help save lives.

With individuals and families across the state struggling with opioid addiction, RALI Maryland provides a platform to share best practices and bring solutions focused on prevention, treatment and recovery to impacted communities.
