Today the Maryland Association of Chain Drug Stores joined the Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI) of Maryland to help raise awareness about effective prevention and treatment options to address opioid addiction.
The Maryland Association of Chain Drug Stores helps to advance the interests and objectives of the chain community pharmacy industry, by fostering its growth and promoting its role as a provider of healthcare services and consumer products.
Cailey Locklair Tolle, president of the Maryland Retailers Association, said, “this is an epidemic that knows no boundaries, hitting all segments of our population, as shown by the vast array of coalition members who all want to do our part to help. We’re excited to have our organization, the Maryland Association of Chain Drug Stores, be a part of RALI Maryland and hope to bring our expertise to the table to help tackle the opioid threat that is overtaking our communities.”
