RALI Maryland Partners Speak at PG County Event

Today, RALI Maryland partners participated in a meeting of the Route 202 Coalition in Prince George’s County. Hosted by State Senator Joanne C. Benson, the meeting brought together community leaders who were interested in learning about effective ways to address the opioid epidemic in our state.

General Arthur T. Dean of CADCA spoke about the ongoing work of RALI Maryland and the importance of properly disposing of old and/or unused medications. General Dean’s remarks were followed by Gene Ransom of MedChi and Dr. Cherokee Layson-Wolf of the Maryland Pharmacists Association who discussed the essential role of doctors and pharmacists in solving this crisis.
